Highland Construction was founded to create, re-imagine, and restore beautiful spaces on the Monterey Peninsula. With several decades of combined experience, our team has extensive knowledge in new construction, remodels, historic renovations, and challenging permitting projects. Highland takes a prescient approach to project planning, thinking all the way through completion from the very first concept drawing. We assess potential constraints to ensure that any complications are understood during the preliminary phases of the project. This approach lowers cost, saves time, and ultimately improves the construction process as the project moves from pre-construction into production. Once in production, our team of project managers, skilled tradesmen, and subcontractors brings the project from the plan to reality. 

We've had the opportunity to work on and complete projects ranging from historic restorations in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, complex permitting projects down the coast in Big Sur, whole house remodels in Pebble Beach, and just about everything in between.
